Tablet & Paint!

So I stumbled upon a cool program called ArtRage. It looked really cool and I wanted to try it out even though I don’t have a tablet at the moment. Above is the result of using just my mouse, just some basic paint mixing. ArtRage is really fun! It’s almost like drawing on paper using real media. I’ve always wanted to try painting but the mess and cost of materials has always turned me off.

So after trying out ArtRage I really want to get a tablet again. My old one broke and I had to throw it away. Oh, and ArtRage has a really nice interface too! No boxy boxes.. everything just feels so nice. XD

Oh, I also read it’s good for sketching, Not as good as sketchbook pro supposedly, but sketchbook pro isn’t good at painting.. so. i guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Just a quick update of stuff I’ve been doing

hmm… well…

I created a new design for SEGAHD.com, which I am very happy with! I’ve also started drawing again. Been torturing myself by drawing realistic stuff. lol. That is the only way to get better after all. I drew an anime style picture yesterday to give me a break from realistic stuff and I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

[ Brave Story: New Traveler ] My impressions: A fun and unique JRPG that needs to be played

To put it simply, the story of Brave Story: New Traveler is a game about a boy who is on a quest to save his friend. The game starts off in Modern-day Japan. Tatsuya and his friend Miki are sitting at a park and something bad happens to Miki. Tatsuya then goes off on an adventure in a fantasy world to save his friend Miki. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but trust me, it’s much better when you are actually watching it and seeing all the details! I just didn’t want to spoil too much. Welcome to my New Blog

Hello and welcome to my new blog! I was really getting sick of the blogspot interface so I decided to use a wordpress blog for my personal blog. I will be working on a theme for this blog in the future, I really HATE the default wordpress theme, it is SO ugly.


This isn’t the final logo, just made this real quick. I haven’t decided on a theme yet for my blog.

Anyways…
This new blog will basically serve the same purpose that my last blog did. Basically just posting whatever I feel like. I plan to get some reviews up now that the semester is over and I got some free time to play some games and write reviews. I will work on bringing old reviews over to this new blog, some reviews I might re-do, though, just because I might feel differently about whatever I’m transferring over.

I just ordered a few DS games two days ago. The games are Okamiden, Radiant Historia, and Trace Memory. Got a good price for those 3 games at amazon and I’ll be reviewing those games after I am done playing them. I also have Star Ocean: The Last Hope Ineternational and Valkyria Chronicles to finish. I will review those games too. Oh! I also got the Valkyria Chronicles DLC I bought a long time ago that I haven’t even touched yet, so I will need to review that too! XD

Anyways yeah, I got a lot of game related stuff to keep me busy and those are my plans for now. So yeah… bye for now!
