The Cave – Announcement Trailer (Developed by Double Fine)

This is quite an interesting title, made by Ron Gilbert and Double Fine, with Sega as it’s publisher, this title has the feeling of Little big planet, psychonaughts and Metroid/Castlevania.

The game centers around seven characters (the monk, the adventurer, the hillbilly, the scientist, the adorable twins, the knight and the time-traveler) going through a cave, which is described as an interesting character in itself. It’s a puzzle adventure that goes beyond a mere point and click game, as well as having plenty of action but being more puzzle than action.

Ron Gilbert is known to be a genius by many and said with the combined power of Double Fine, is unstoppable. That being said, this should be very interesting.
