The House of the Dead 4 hitting PSN/SEN in April (with wonderful bonus content)

the house of the dead 4

Earlier today on the Playstation blog, a date for release as well as a list of bonus content for “The House of the Dead 4″ was revealed.

For anyone not familiar with the franchise, The house of the dead titles are a set of fast paced, on rail shooters where your goal is to rack up high score and overall survive through a large number of zombies and monsters.

However, this version of THOTD4 has some wonderful features, some I personally thought would never be even thought of being put into a future port.

Here’s a list of those extra features:

  • PlayStation Move compatible
  • Additional levels from The House of the Dead 4 Special
  • Bonus unlockable PlayStation Home item
  • Original creator interview
  • Trophies

For those of you who really look into this game, you read that bullet point correctly. This download will include the levels from “The House of the Dead 4 : Special” which features a more powerful and difficult boss from a previous HOD title.

The download will be available on April 17th, and be priced at a nice $9.99/£6.49/€7.99, a demo will also be up for download on April 10th.

Now please excuse me while I do a fan girl squeal.

And for anyone unfamiliar with the SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) term, it’s the new name for PSN (PlayStation Network) which unified all Sony related online accounts for video, music, and games.
